In the U.S. Midwest, the Holiday Train will embark on its journey December 9 in Gurnee, Illinois. On December 18, the train continues into Saskatchewan for its final 3 performances.
Entertainers on this train include Shaun Verreault, best known as the virtuosic singer/guitarist/song-writer for blues-rockers and Canadian live favourites Wide Mouth Mason, and Juno award-winning singer and songwriter Melanie Doane.

La Crosse – 3:15 to 3:45 p.m. - Amtrak Station, 601 Saint Andrew St.
Holiday Trains, decorated with thousands of Christmas lights, runs in partnership with the Canadian Association of Food Banks (CAFB) and U.S. food collection agencies to raise donations and awareness for the issue of hunger. The Holiday Train program allows employees, customers and communities to come together to help people in need.

A family fun event highlighting a visit and stop by the Canadian Pacific Railways 14 Car & Locomotive Holiday Train. Train arrives at 6:15 pm. Entertainment, Santa Claus, food & holiday beverages. “Happy Acre” Sleigh rides 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm. Raffle for great prizes including Packer tickets. Show including Santa from the train. All local donations and proceeds benefit the CWCAC Food Pantry.
Admission Fee: No Charge. Donations Accepted.
